About Me

Who Am I you ask?
I am this completely impulsive, fun-spirited, creative person that, thank God, has found her soul mate. At least, my definition of soul mate, is someone who caters to the wild side of my ever changing mind and eclectic personality, but yet, keeps me grounded.

Did I mention that my mind never, ever rests? My Nana use to say that an Idle Mind is a Devil's workshop. I'm so full of ideas that I will never, ever, be able to carry them all out in one lifetime. So...I hope there is room in heaven for a studio :-)

What started all this madness?

I was born and raised in Texas (San Antonio area) and in 2004, moved to Sunny Ocala, Florida. I met my husband here (He's originally from Connecticut) and married him Oct 2010. I first started designing pet ID tags for the 2 loves of my life back in December 2009 and it just grew from there to now include necklaces, bracelets, rings, ornaments, and key chains. And I am still constantly coming up with new ideas! We started with just a $ 100 investment in materials and operated our business in a tiny 350 square foot room in a commercial building. In September 2011 we are now proud renters of a fabulous 1700sf Studio space here in Florida. It's what we’ve always dreamed of- a studio where we can take our dogs to work with bright colored walls and fun and funky decor. In April 2011, I was laid off from my 9-5 job. Luckily, we have several fabulous and successful Etsy stores and new websites that we are proud to be part of. We will continue to work these stores and use them as our only source of income. *God-Willing*

My main focus is to provide unique, hand-crafted, custom pieces for pets and people alike. Most of my designs are rustic-earthy-nature inspired pieces. I love the "not so perfect" piece of jewelry that looks like God had a hand in making it. I'm a self taught artisan. I learned everything from doing my own research.

Thank you for peeking into my life's window...

Yours Truly,
Lacy S Hornberger
